Emily Parkins

Hello!

My name is Emily Parkins. I am 22 years old and am a graduate of Surface Pattern and Textiles at UWTSD Swansea. I have lived in Swansea since the age of 5 and I just love being surrounded by such a range of places to visit and be inspired by.

I enjoy being creative and designing my own patterns using inspiration from both natural and man-made objects. Abstract art has always fascinated me, and I try to incorporate abstract and colour as much as possible within my pattern designs.

My goal is to one day have my own small business where I sell items with my printed designs, inspired by what I see around me and made into an exciting and fun pattern that is unique and different.
